Position Overview


Leads, mentors and manages the activities of the region creating a culture of success and passion. Supports the sales organizations objectives to become recognized within Transtar as the best managed region of the company and to be known throughout each industry segment as the best place to work.

Leads the region and each territory to excellence and professionalism in:

  • Sales and market share
  • Finance
  • Personnel development
  • Professionalism, innovation and quality
  • Health, safety and the environment
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year College or University; and 2 - 5 years related experience in a sales management or equivalent leadership position and or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to travel 75% of the time.
  • Exceptional reasoning, mathematical, and language abilities
  • Ability to use Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint effectively to write reports, compile data and prepare presentations as well as experience using Goldmine or a comparable CRM tool.
  • The employee must have the ability to meet the physical requirements of the job
  • Ability to communicate in both Spanish and English beneficial but not necessarily required
