Manage Civil Engineering Group for Water, E&RM and Federal projects with designs including: utility distribution systems, misc. roadway design, storm water designs, and site grading.

Provide civil expertise and mentoring in areas including: detailed system calculations, drawing production, master specification editing, and construction cost estimating.

Report to and work with Section Supervisor in regards to the execution of multiple-discipline projects.

Job Description:

• Responsible for operations of a production group including staff development, profitability, morale, quality control and marketing support.
• Will function as a project manager and production on projects in addition to management responsibilities.
• Will be administratively responsible for the group and technical service functions and will lead and coordinate services with other disciplines.
• Will be involved in identification of markets and clients, marketing planning, proposals and interviews.
• Be directly involved with industrial and public clients in marketing, project production and related issues.
• See that all work is planned, organized, controlled and evaluated through a pro-active project management system.
• Implement, monitor and support company policy. Select, train, develop and manage technical personnel.
• Experience in the management and development of multi-discipline teams.
• Typically requires a Bachelors degree in a related field, a professional registration or license and a minimum of 8 years related experience

Requirements:

• BS Civil Engineering
• PE license.
• A minimum 8 years managing Civil and Site projects, budgets, project teams.
• Ability to manage, lead and mentor other team members.
