Quality Analyst

 

Downtown Indianapolis client is looking for a quality analyst to work on a long term project.

This person will verify that software operates as designed, provide technical expertise in testing and product knowledge, provide accurate estimates and reports of test progress, write test procedures, and under direction, test plans.

 

 

DUTIES

·         Test software releases during the product development

·         Report any problems that come up in the database and test those problems

·         Monitor and update bug reports as needed

·         Configure the necessary hardware and operating environments as needed

·         Write or assist in the development of test plans and test procedures

·         Complete assigned test-related tasks

·         Assist in the test procedures

·         Assist in the review of test procedures while they are being developed


 


Job Requirements 

JOB REQUIREMENTS

·         Demonstrate the ability to analyze a problem and complete detailed reports

·         Able to produce the steps that cause the bug in the product and then be able to reproduce and communicate these steps

·         Show initiative in gaining in-depth experience in areas of technology relevant to testing company products

·         Show initiative in gaining theoretical knowledge in software testing

·         Ability to work well in a team environment and alone

·         Ability to multi-task

·         Must be able to adapt to change

·         Ability to meet deadlines

·         Strong communication skills


 

EXPERIENCE and QUALIFICATIONS

 

·         Bachelors Degree in business or technical discipline

·         3 years related experience, or equivalent combination of education and work experience
