Manufacturing Engineer – stamping, fabrication, assembly, automotive

 

A major tier one supplier has an opportunity for an experienced engineer.  We are searching for degreed engineers with 3 plus years of experience to support the manufacturing processes.  Experience in stamping, progressive dies, assembly and fabrication is preferred.  The ideal candidate will have experience designing tooling, fixturing and dies.  Strong troubleshooting, debugging and experience supporting processes is required.  Knowledge of assembly processes and basic understanding of PLC is preferred.  Candidates with experience development processes and completing new product launch projects with experience documenting FMEA, control plans and work instructions are also strongly preferred.  Good problem solving skills involving fit, function and quality in a manual and automated assembly operation is a plus.  This opportunity is with a large corporation with many divisions serving the automotive, trucking, heavy off road and AG OEM’s.  They offer career advancement and a good benefit package.

 

MUST HAVE:  a 4 year technical degree, tool design, fixture design and some of the following process experience:  stamping, welding, fabrication, automation and/or assembly.
