JOB SUMMARY:

 

  • Plan, organize, lead, control and coordinate the day-to-day activities of trainees.
  • Mentor and lead New Hires throughout their training period; this includes classroom training, client specific training and coaching when processing begins and floor time (shadowing).
  • Work closely with Supervisors and Team Leads regarding scheduling of associates, shadowing time, and business needs.
  • Provide coaching to associates regarding quality, and other areas of opportunities that may arise.
  • Advise Manager and Supervisors immediately of any issues that may arise during training regarding attendance and/or performance.
  • Develop new job aids to assist in training.
  • Track and provide individual quality and production statistics to each New Hire, Manager, and Supervisors.
  • Provide tips for increasing processing.
  • Provide recommendation for associate placement.
  • Assist with other training needs that arise.
Requirements

 

  • Able to work flexible hours as required by training programs.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills and be able to facilitate training classes.
  • Ability to work in a team environment to collectively address team issues, resolve problems and receive constructive feedback.
  • Ability to prioritize effectively and successfully complete multiple tasks within assigned deadlines.
  • Demonstrated proficiency to handle processing for all clients serviced at site.
  • Demonstrated ability to train/mentor other associates on all processing functions.
  • Demonstrated ability to assist others with the resolution of their processing inquiry.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively use Excel, Word and Outlook.

Required skills

 

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • 1+ to 2 years training experience preferred.
  • One or more years experience in an insurance verification environment preferred.
  • General Hazard insurance, tax and/or mortgage servicing knowledge highly preferred.
