WE ARE LOOKING TO FILL A CRITICAL POSITION IN OUR COMPANY
Cranium Clubhouse is located in Winter Garden – Windermere Florida. In 2009 we have gone from 6 employees in a smaller facility to over 20 employees and a brand new, expanded location. We are looking to bring on an Assistant Director over our preschool. This person will report to our Director & Owners.
We are looking for a person who meets some or all of the following criteria:
* Director or Assistant Director experience (proven experience managing a facility, office, group or company – preference for experience in a preschool or daycare)
* BA or BS Degree in Education or Childhood Psychology
* Strong marketing – sales skills and interactions with customers – parents
* Some experience filling in or teaching preschool age children
* Strong organizational and time management skills
* Warm, professional and engaging personality. A team-player who can forge meaningful relationships with parents, children, teachers, and the community.

* This position requires a high-energy individual with the ability to plan and achieve positive educational and business results.
* Flexibility in schedule. Would have a set schedule but have flexibility to work any day or hours of the week to either fill in for other employees or attend various after school or weekend marketing events.
* Background and ability in successfully managing a team of preschool staff. A personality that is warm and nurturing to staff members, while also being able to demand and receive the highest performance from them.
This position/person will become our Assistant Director/Office/Marketing Manager and report directly to the Director/Owners of the facility. This person will have the ability to grow within the company as we expand into other facilities and eventually franchise the Cranium Clubhouse concept.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Daily school operations.
- Ensure compliance with state and local licensing requirements.
- Help with educational program planning and assessment.
- Support Director with financial management including budgeting, expense control and tuition collection.
- Staff management including: hiring, training, and scheduling.
- Helping to maintain a warm yet vibrant and fun learning environment for all.
- Marketing and driving student enrollment.
Requirements
ABOUT US:
We are a early childhood learning center. Our programs include a preschool in addition to tutoring, summer camps and birthday parties for kids ranging from 2 – 10 years of age. Our learning and play curriculum is completely unique to anything else in the industry. We utilize the latest technology and methodologies incorporated into a multi-sensory interactive learning experience for children.
CRITERIA: DO YOU HAVE THESE SKILLS?
A personality fit is critical. We are looking for someone who is highly motivated, energetic, versatile, dependable, and dynamic. A personality that can enthusiastically engage and win over children and their parents.
Candidates will also need to be highly organized.
Someone who has proven experience and thrives in a Director, Assistant Director, front desk environment. Someone who brings structure and organization to a dynamic position.
Someone who has proven experience marketing or selling services in a consultative role.
A valid driver’s license and no criminal background a must. Level 2 screening required, including a complete past employment check.
PREFERENCE TOWARDS:
Someone who LOVES working with kids.
STRONG background in English, Math, and Writing (Must pass a reading and math basic skills test up to a 5th grade level as a part of the interview process).
Must live close to our location in the Winter Garden - Windermere Area of Orlando
