Academic Dean - Director of Education
Southwestern College, located in Dayton, Ohio, is seeking an Academic Dean to join our growing campus. Your primary responsibility is the administration of our educational delivery objectives. You are responsible for assisting in curriculum development and implementation, planning and scheduling, budgeting, faculty recruitment, supervision, and development; student advisement and retention and library utilization. You will be expected to develop positive working relationships with faculty and staff.
Job Requirements
Graduate Degree required and at least 3-5 years of experience in a for profit career education environment.
The position requires strong leadership and interpersonal abilities, excellent communication and problem-solving skills, well-developed organizational capabilities, willingness to work in a team-centered environment, and the capacity to manage multiple priorities and projects.
In addition the selected candidate will have prior experience with accreditation reporting, faculty training, in services and curriculum development.
