Description

An established global packaging company has an opening for an experienced structural packaging engineer. This individual will take projects from the concept stage through execution. In this position you will develop CAD drawings, specifications, construct prototypes and provide written analyses of proposed packaging in order to present design to the client for approval. The position involves plastic packaging structural design. Having a working knowledge of thermoforming, injection and blister molding desirable. In addition, experience with Dimension SST 1200, 3D Printer and Vac Form Equipment required. In this position you will contribute to the creation of the package designs that translate the clients brand message while maximizing current technology and trend. You will be responsible to independently manage project milestones and have the ability to effectively communicate on multiple projects internally and externally.
