Field Sales Development works with multiple account types, including Telco Partners, National Accounts, and Independent Retail Accounts.

 

The Field Sales Development Representative (FSDR) is responsible for increasing subscriber activations through account development, training, and support of account partners. 

Job Responsibilities:
 

  • Driving sales results throughout the assigned territory
  • Traveling to visit accounts throughout their set geography
  • Actively engaging with partner leadership; teaming up to set the strategic direction for their area
  • Providing training presentations to both large and small groups
  • Ensuring effective and accurate communication with accounts, sales leadership, co-workers, and vendors
  • Maintaining positive business relationships
  • Working closely with owners and management of our independent dealers to build business plans, develop sales and marketing strategies, and improve customer retention
  • Teaming with retailers to conduct various sales events
  • Detailed and accurate tracking of business activities
  • Maintaining a comprehensive understanding of DISH Network and the cable/satellite industry
  • Maintaining knowledge of the local competition, demographics, products, programs, installation, service, and pricing
  • This position covers a large geography and will require a significant amount of time spent driving to visit retail accounts.

Job Requirements

Education Requirements:

3+ years related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.  Four year bachelor’s degree preferred.


Qualifications:

  • Self-motivated and has ability to work with little direction
  • Results oriented
  • Strong strategic planning skills 
  • Ability to deliver training presentations and respond to questions from large groups  
  • Proven ability to identify areas of need and develop innovative solutions
  • The ability to read, analyze, and interpret business periodicals, professional journals and/or technical procedures
  • Excellent written/oral communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to work well on a team
  • Strong computer skills and familiarity with MS Office required

 

Candidates must be able to travel 60% - 80% of the time with occasional overnight travel when business requires.  Must maintain a valid Driver’s License with a satisfactory driving record.  Occasional flights for business travel are required.
