Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY

Performs administrative and office support activities for Operations teams.

PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Perform administrative functions including answering telephone calls, receiving and directing visitors, word processing, filing, data entry and distributes departmental documentation.

  • Organizes, arranges, and delivers departmental agendas and transcribes minutes for designated Operations meetings.

  • Orders and maintains inventory of departmental office supplies.

  • Supports and assists on State projects as needed.

  • Runs department reports as needed.

  • Assists with mass mailing projects.

  • Provides back-up to Receptionist and other Administrative Assistants as needed.

Job Requirements

Education:  High School Diploma or GED, prefer  an Associates degree


Experience:
1 -2 years of business office administration, preferably in a managed care setting

Additional Skills and Knowledge: Extensive software skills & competencies are required, as well as Internet research abilities and strong communication skills.  Includes:  MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and also preferably a familiarity with Visio, Project and Access)
