Job Description:
 
  • Covers all sales functions in an assigned territory  

  • Provides customer service as required, and prepares periodic reports as required.

  • Provides and searches for new business opportunities.

  • Secures orders from existing and potential customers by means of visiting the customer facility or contacting by phone.

  • Establishes professional customer/vendor relationships with appropriate customer personnel (purchasing, engineering, manufacturing, quality assurance, management, and other key personnel.)

  • Submits weekly activity/call reports concerning customer-related activities for quotes, orders, and problems concerning customer/vendor relationships.

  • Performs all assigned duties in the assigned sales territory.

  • Provides a territory sales forecast on a monthly basis.

 

ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS

  • Performs any directly related appropriate duties assigned by their direct report.
  • Performs assigned duties with minimum personal supervision from their direct report.

 

Requirements

 REGIONAL SALES MANAGER – ZERUST

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills required

  • 4-year Scientific or Technical Degree (Engineering, Chemistry)

  • Minimum of 5 years outside sales experience with distribution and direct customers

  • Strong interpersonal and persuasive communication skills

  • Willingness to travel (50%)

  • Self-motivated / self-starter

  • Sense of urgency

  • Personable, extroverted personality

  • Strong organizational skills
