Description

·          Generates complete estimates and reviews outgoing estimates with Estimating department to ensure accuracy.

·          Schedules manpower needs on a daily basis based on customer and/or project needs.

·          Attends walkthroughs on customer sites to determine scope of potential service projects.

·          Establishes expectations and motivates crews to consistently meet or beat goals.

·          Consistently completes projects on time, within budget, and in a safe manner.

·          Reviews service technicians’ time cards for accuracy.

·          Identifies and generates new business.  Networks, establishes, and   maintains customer relationships.

·          Demonstrates ability to obtain, organize, and manage materials effectively.

·          Effectively manages resources (tools, equipment, staffing).

·          Demonstrates ability to conduct effective face-to-face evaluations with field crews.

·          Consistently enforces and promotes workplace safety procedures (weekly toolbox talks,  weekly safety audits, appropriate documentation, etc.).

·          Maintains compliance with company policies; consults with HR and/or project management to ensure consistent corrective measures are taken and documentation completed.

·          Demonstrates excellent customer relations through utilization of effective problem-solving techniques.

·          Assists the Project Manager with contacting customers in regards to outstanding receivables.

·          Performs other related duties as required and assigned.

Requirements Candidates must be proficient in the use of a PC and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, and Word).  Candidates must be detail-oriented, consistenly provide top-notch customer service, and have experience in estimating electrical construction projects.

Candidates should possess a high school diploma or GED; and completion of an apprenticeship or equivalent work experience (8,000 hours) in the electrical construction industry.
