Description A busy Farmers Insurance Agency seeks a motivated, organized, and friendly person to serve as a Customer Service Representative to an Account Executive for personal lines insurance. Three main things are expected of the candidate: (1) provide outstanding customer service and thereby help the Agency meet retention goals, (2) cross-sell auto and home insurance products to our existing mono-line customers, and (3) sell term life insurance to our existing customers. If those three things are done in an excellent fashion, then the candidate will be very successful in this position.
 
More specific duties of the job include:
 
Ø Becoming an expert at auto, home, and term life insurance.

Ø Developing skills to properly offer auto, home, and life insurance to our customers.
 
Ø Answering telephone and providing helpful, friendly, outstanding customer service.
 
Ø Contacting customers who are late on their insurance payments.
 
Ø Reviewing renewal notices and alerting customers to other discounts for which they might qualify.

Ø Researching and resolving billing inquiries and other customer questions.
 
Ø Rewriting a current policy to another policy form, when appropriate.

Ø Processing changes to insurance policies and customer accounts.
 
Ø Preparing insurance proposals.
 
Ø Processing new business applications.
 
The candidate should be teachable and coachable and capable of using imagination and creativity in day-to-day activities. In addition, the ideal candidate will possess at least one year of property and casualty insurance experience. A Colorado Property and Casualty Insurance license is required. In addition, a Colorado Life Insurance license will be required within 45 days of hire. The Agency will reimburse up to $350 to pass this exam. A retirement plan is offered in which the Agency matches 100% up to 3% of the employee’s salary. The Agency will pay 50% of the employee’s individual health benefits.

Salary  depends on experience and licenses, ranges from $30,000-36,000.
