Chehalem Health & Rehab Center

Chehalem is a nursing center that provides traditional nursing and rehabilitative care. Assistance and support is provided by a team of care givers whose goal is to become a positive part of the residents daily lives helping patients return home or assisting others in becoming as independent as possible. The community also offers a specialized Alzheimer's and dementia care unit. The unit's atmosphere is designed not to overwhelm the residents but to add structure and familiarity to their lives. Each resident is unique in their needs and the staff takes great care to communicate and learn the activities and memories that add comfort to their day.

CNA POSITION SUMMARY:

We are seeking a CNA to provide direct resident care under the supervision of a licensed nurse. The pace is quick but the rewards are lasting as you perform or assist residents with activities of daily living. This is a critical front line role that requires great communication, customer service, and organizational skills.

Job Requirements 

Required Experience: Applicants must be certified or prepared to complete a state approved certification course.

  

Required Education: GED or high school equivalent preferred. First aid certification and participation in annual training programs required.
