Job Description

SAP Security Analyst (permanent position in Fort Wayne IN)

Company Information:
This is a global implementation from Legacy to ECC 6.0.  The COE is HQ in the US but the European implementation is going on for the next 8 months.  We have 13 plants left to implement then we will begin the US phase while continuing to support our European plants.  You will be supporting a 16K employee company worth 2.6 Billion dollars with 4,500 SAP users.  There have been no layoffs in the SAP departments…actually have grown.  The SAP team size is about 30 in total with half of those in Indiana.  This initial implementation is expected to go well beyond 2012 due to the magnitude of the company and project

 

Benefits will include salary, bonus, a full relocation package that includes buying your home at FMV and temporary housing that is furnished.  By the way, this is a privately held company, so decisions can and are made quickly…gets rid of the politics of business.


Responsibilities:
You are responsible for SAP security design and configuration for global SAP systems to ensure that all application modules are functional and secured.  A manufacturing background is preferred and 50% international travel is required for up to 3 weeks at a time.  Once the European sites are completed, international travel will reduce to about 20%.

Job Requirements


Since international travel is required, a US Citizen or Green Card is required.  Due to the cultural variances, you must be well spoken, outgoing and must be able to have your ideas challenged with professional responses.  5 years minimum SAP Security.  You will be responsible for SAP security design and configuration for global SAP systems to ensure that all application modules are functional and secured. Define security standards, ECC 6.0 exp preferred, SAP Security Design, CUA, past Basis is a plus, BI 7.0 is a plus, Compliance Tools like SAP GRC, SOX and role-based Security design
