Job Description 

Job opportunity with Fortune 500 Pharmaceutical Company! The Insurance Benefits Specialist will be working in a corporate environment as a liaison between patients, doctors and insurance companies to investigate benefit coverage of different drug therapies.  They will seek verification of insurance coverage by using a variety of decision-making tools as well as using communication skills to speak with payers, patients and physicians.  They will be judged on both productivity and activity (quality and quantity of work done). This is more than just a customer service role.
 


Job Requirements 

* Recent graduates with a health care background will be considered!
* Ability to communicate effectively
* Ability to meet deadlines and multi-task
* Attention to detail
* Proficiency with Microsoft Suite, particularly Excel
* Bachelor's Degree
* Experience with Insurance Verification in a physician setting is a PLUS
* Health care experience in work or school is a PLUS
