Job Description 

  • Achieve revenue goal by investigating the needs of existing advertisers and selling customized advertising programs.

  • Build active account base by developing advertising programs for new advertisers.

  • Target potential customers and at-risk customers whose advertising expenditures are sporadic, inconsistent, or with other media.

  • Develop ad schedules, campaigns, spec ads, frequency packages, and products to grow active accounts and increase revenue from existing accounts.

 

 

  • Know and understand value selling, market demographics, rates, special sections, and other media to generate sales presentations.

 


Job Requirements 

  • College degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum 2 years of advertising sales experience, including ability to conduct a needs assessment, abilty to identify marketing and advertising solutions for clients, ability to develop proposals and experience in delivering sales presentations.
  • Digital sales or marketing experience preferred
