**ALAMABA MENTOR provides individualized foster care for children and adolescents who are emotionally disturbed and behaviorally impaired, as well as, individuals with developmental disabilities, and court-involved youth. ALAMABA MENTOR has been providing services for 20 years and is part of a National Corporation.
Job Description:
Recruitment of foster parents through creative avenues of marketing, advertising, and educating. Provide training to foster parents, staff and community resources. Develop and maintain strategic marketing plan.
Schedule timely orientations to ensure all persons are properly and timely orientated to the program according to requirements. Responsible for on-going development of all potential foster parents. Develop and maintain training schedule and coordinate pre-service training.
Ensure all home studies are conducted according to established standards, which include giving potential foster parents weekly assignments and coordinating the process to completion within established time frames. Ensure verified homes are in 100% compliance with all standards and are evaluated quarterly for continued compliance.
Required to participate in the on-call rotation and provide weekly schedule.
