Description:
The Rehab Specialist (RS) has as a primary responsibility for assessing rehabilitation patients, evaluating patient needs and selecting the proper mobility product, primarily power wheelchairs. The RS is responsible to the customer for assuring timely and accurate acquisition of equipment, delivery and product education while adhering to all payer and company policies and procedures. This function is sometimes carried on outside of the company offices, but can in some cases be a person who provides extensive services within the office as their primary location.
The RS is also involved in sales, with the responsibility of generating increased company revenues by promoting rehab products and services of the company to prospective customers, primarily by developing effective relationships with existing and potential referral sources.
