Highly motivated, results-oriented professional will provide Project Management support for Rosetta Stone U.S. and global retail areas. The successful candidate will have a strong merchandising, marketing and communications background with demonstrated experience in supporting a team-based approach, developing creative and innovative marketing strategies, visual merchandising, and implementing multi-media programs to support and fulfill the customer experience.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  

This person will work with the Retail channel stakeholders to facilitate the execution of the comprehensive marketing plans from creation through implementation. He/she will work directly with the channel stakeholders to develop and document the strategy, while identifying and managing the details of the programs to ensure proper execution. This position will support retail partnership for both on-line and in-line stores, Rosetta Stone kiosks and Zoom kiosk machines in development, scheduling and budget phases to ensure timely implementation of project deliverables. 

 

  • Develop and implement strategic marketing and merchandising plans to meet business goals of retail stakeholders.
  • Proactively manage the changes in project scope and devise contingency plans for promotional concepts and execution.
  • Play integral role in planning and development process as it relates to Rosetta Stone kiosks,      in-line stores as well as on-line and off-line retailers for U.S
  • Manage retail assets and ensure integration with other plans in organization.
  • Critical player in all store openings and closing
  • Understands target market(s) develops creative positioning for store markets.
    • Acts as primary liaison between Creative Services and retail stakeholders. Manages retail merchandising across the organization with various levels of management from VP’s to managers, reviewing schedules/concepts/comps/update to insure all goals are met as they relate to marketing and merchandising development and production.
  • Conduct weekly meetings with key managers of retail areas for the purpose of reviewing progress as well as identifying new project needs. Communicating impact of changes in direction or identifying new initiatives to ensure integration with other plans in organization.
  • Primary contact between stakeholder, brand and legal approvals as it relates to on-line and off-line retail programs.
  • Manage implementation of all marketing and merchandising projects for the Retail Development Team from concept through completion.
    • Manage the marketing calendar that supports the retail development schedule.
    • Manage promotional signage for all retail locations, making sure that they are outfitted with approved signage, materials and display options that reflect a marketing matrix while meeting brand guidelines and expectations of stakeholders.
    • Work with Sr. Project Manager to implement timelines and creative brief and deliver to stakeholders, legal, creative and brand management for sign-off.
    • Communicate all comments to creative team - receive final approval and then coordinate   with design, studio and production to finalize project.
    • Acts as primary liaison between Global retail related projects and requests
    • Support the international teams with kiosk opening, new partners and any additional requests. 
    • Responsible for orchestrating the resources to successfully complete the global assignment. International travel will be required.
    • Manage all the detailed deliverables, due dates and schedules: communicating to various departments project updates.
    • Track the marketing/merchandising deliverables, creating best practices for the international retail channel                                                                                                            
  • Manage the creative process and execution for all video’s used at Retailers or kiosks.
  • Identify and secure the necessary file format requirements  (i.e. music, VO’s, animation, graphics)
  • Determine resources, internal or external. (i.e. creative team and/or agency)
  • Manage all the detailed deliverables, due dates and schedules: communicating to various departments project updates
  • Identify and manage all marketing and merchandising components for opening a new kiosk or    in-line store.      
  • Working with the expansion development and operations team, identifying all the marketing collateral; edit and manage the necessary creative briefs. (i.e. photos, architectural drawings/schematics, merchandising requirements/limitation)
  • Determine resources, internal or external. (i.e. creative team and/or agency)
  • Manage all the detailed deliverables, due dates and schedules: communicating to various departments project updates.
 


job Requirements

Position requires a minimum of 8 years experience in a Project Management or Account Service role in   marketing on either the agency or client side.

Must have 3 years experience in the development of video/film and production.

Experience across marketing channels: such as print, online, video, advertising, and merchandising.

Creative, strategic thinking and strong communications skills – written and verbal – are mandatory. 

Multi-tasking abilities and attention to detail in a fast paced, deadline-driven environment.

Familiarity with retail marketing and/or retail operations.

Strong communication, visual and analytical skills a must.

Experience in marketing software or other technology-driven company is a definite plus.

Must have expert computer skills in MS (Project, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Familiarity with leading industry graphic applications: Adobe CS, InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator,  Dreamweaver. 

Bachelor’s degree in marketing or relevant field required.
