Our client is in the home textiles manufacturing and distribution business.  This position is primarily responsible for procurement of goods but will also have duties associated with product development, sales and merchandising.

Additional responsibilities will include:
  • Develope and maintain Sourcing Line Calendar and participate in weekly meetings to discuss progress
  • Develop and maintain vendor sample library
  • Establish and maintain pricing grid sheets
  • Collaborate with Design team and vendors to finalize all materials, designs, packaging, product SPEC requirements, costs and ship dates
  • Assist in presentation of new products to customers
 


Job Requirements 

  • 3 years of retail buying experience in home textiles
  • Bachelor's Degress in a related discipline
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Strong computer skills (proficient in all Microsoft Office applications)
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize work
  • Self motivated and directed and able to work with minimal supervision
