As part of a Program of All Inclusive Care for Elderly (PACE), this position provides leadership, vision, and belief in the PACE philosophy of care; has significant responsibilities for Providence ElderPlace's Clinic, Home Health and Home Care departments. Creates an environment that fosters growth of our nursing professionals and enhances the quality of care provided. Facilitates interdisciplinary care planning and participates actively in PEPS initiatives.
Provides occasional direct nursing care in a manner that assures participant satisfaction and retention. Knowledge and support of the mission and core values of the Sisters of Providence are important to successful performance, as are commitment to and demonstration of a spirit of teamwork.

We're seeking an individual who performs all duties in a manner that promotes teamwork and reflects the Mission and Philosophy of our founders, the Sisters of Providence.

Position Specifics.
This position is located at Providence ElderPlace in South Seattle, WA.
Shift: Days (M-F), 8 am-4:30 pm.
 

Requirements.

Education:  Baccalaureate or Master's degree in nursing from an accredited nursing school.
Licensure: Currently licensed RN in the state of Washington. CPR certification. Current Washington State Driver License. Proof of current auto insurance.
Experience: Three years managerial and supervisory experience including recent clinic
management and/or organizational experience. Recent emergency room and/or triage experience to include IV therapy. Demonstrated skill in personnel selection, allocation of workload, supervision, evaluation, delegation, nursing, and multidisciplinary team building.
Knowledge of current trends in geriatric nursing.
