Job Description 

DNA Search is actively seeking a Director of Nursing for  a home health agency in the Chatham, NJ area.

Responsibilities of the Director of Nursing include:
- Provide clinical oversight of our prestigious home care service
- Ensure high quality and safe delivery of home care services
- Coordinate provision of home care services with strict adherence to Company policies, state regulations, and accreditation standards
- Manage daily operations including supervising of staff
- Lead the quality assurance committee
- Plan, develop and evaluate services, programs and activities
- Assist in the recruitment and hiring process and evaluation of staff
- Be responsible for the program's financial success
- Visit client homes as back-up to the field nursing staff
- Some on-call responsibility

 


Job Requirements 

Director of Nursing/Home Health


- current valid license in good standing as a registered nurse issued by the NJ Board of Nursing
- you must EITHER have a BS degree with a major in nursing or other health-related field plus TWO years of professional experience as an RN in community health or home health OR be an RN with THREE years of community health and/or home health experience professionally with progressive nursing responsibilities
- minimum of 2 years of management experience in a healthcare setting
- strong written and verbal communication skills
- excellent organizational skills
- knowledge of New Jersey Medicaid regulations, PCA assessments, and CAHC requirements a plus
