Customer Service Opportunities

 

Staffmark is currently seeking well qualified applicants for call center oriented customer service roles with several companies in the Greater Nashville and Brentwood areas.

Candidates must have the ability to communicate effectively, do so over the phone and problem solve well. Candidates must have experience and proficiency in utilizing computers and Microsoft 2000 or higher, analytical skills to review paperwork, troubleshoot issues, and manage all available resources offered in training and on the job to ensure successful customer service. Other administrative duties may also be required as needed, the ability to multitask is imperative. Candidates must have the ability to type accurately and within required speeds for the specific role.

 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES THAT CAN BE EXPECTED:

-Interacts with customers to provide information in response to inquires about accounts, products, and services.

-Handles and resolves customer complaints, special orders, or returns in-store or via phone or mail.

-Provides effective customer service. Interacts with customers by phone to ensure the best service possible.

-Answers customers' questions regarding product or service and operation or maintenance.

-Receives and processes orders, provides information concerning pricing, changes in service, discontinuance, and shipping.

-Receives and processes orders, provides information concerning pricing, changes in service, and discontinuance. May solicit sale of new or additional services or products.

-Interviews customers to obtain information and explain available services. Investigates and corrects errors, following customer and company records.

-Adjusts complaints concerning billing and/or services rendered.

-Refers complaints of product or service failure to appropriate departments for investigation.

-A combination of three to six months of directly related training and/or experience is typically required for carrying out the responsibilities for this job.

-Coordinates customers' service needs with other departments as required ensuring customer service.

-May receive orders, resolve complaints about billing, and explain how to use product or service.

 

There are both temporary and temp to hire positions. All applicants should have the permanent, long-term, in mind when pursuing these roles. Positions are in the range of $10 - $12 hourly, with a possible consideration of increase once rolled over. Various work schedules and shifts can be considered to include 1st and 2nd shifts, overtime as needed is crucial, and that flexibility is requested. Dress code is business casual. We are anticipating openings to be available and new training classes to start between December 2009 and January 2010. Job Requirements
