EASTLAND SUITES HOTEL & CONFERENCE CENTER in Urbana is well known for its warm and friendly service. Offering 124 spacious and comfortable rooms and suites along with 2 romantic whirlpool fireplace suites. Enjoy play in the 60ft lap pool or work out in the large fitness room. With over 5000 square feet of meeting space, comprised of 6 meeting rooms, Eastland Suites can accommodate from 10 to 120 guests.
Requirements

A successful Sales Manager for EASTLAND SUITES HOTEL & CONFERENCE CENTER
  

  • Contacts representatives of University of Illinois, student groups, associations, sporting groups, and social groups to solicit business for hotel:

 

  • Reviews information on sales meetings, conventions, training classes, overnight travel, and other functions held by organization members to select prospective customers for hotel services.

 

  • Calls on prospects to solicit business, analyzes requirements of function, outlines available hotel facilities and services offered, and quotes prices.

 

  • Confers with customer to plan function details including: space requirements, time schedules, food services, and audio/visual needs.

 

  • May design and implement marketing campaigns such as direct mail or sales blitz.  

 

    • Administrative duties such as writing and sending contracts, monitoring group room block release dates and maintaining filing system.
