J.J. Taylor Distributing Florida, Inc. is currently seeking 2 Merchandisers; a Part-Time Merchandiser to run a route in the La Belle/Clewiston areas and a Full-Time Merchandiser to run a route in the Naples area.
This positions are entry-level into our Sales department. Responsibilities include merchandising an established local route beginning at 5:30am and moving beer from the store back room to the assigned shelf space, rotate product, build displays and ensure all retail prices are properly displayed in each account.
Must have reliable transportation, pass a drug/physical test. Must carry a minimum of $100,000/$300,000/$50,000 liability coverage on your personal vehicle. (A monthly auto allowance is paid to you for gas and additional insurance costs)

Physical Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
· Able to regularly drive a van to accounts to deliver signage.
· While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to bend and move in high, low, and tight areas to set up displays and signage.
· Able to regularly lift or carry up to 40 lbs. (case of beer) and occasionally push/pull up to 340 lbs.
· Able to operate an electric pallet jack.
· Able to maneuver a two-wheel dolly effectively.
Educational/Vocational/Previous Experience Recommendations:
· High School diploma or GED preferred.
· Minimum of 1-2 years previous merchandising/sales/promotions experience desired, previous beverage industry experience a strong plus.
· Valid Class D drivers license required.
