Description Global leader in the design and production of medical devices seeks a Design Engineer for the company's ultrasosonic devices group. This company offers great career growth across its many divisions, both domestic and international.

Requirements

BS in Mechanical Engineering with 6 (six) years of engineering experience within the medical device or equivalent regulated industry OR MS with 5 (five) years of engineering experience within the medical device or equivalent regulated industry
3+ years proven project management and/or supervisory skills
Experience designing ultrsound or ultrasonic medical devices strongly preferred
Solid modeling software expertise, Solidworks highly preferred
Engineering software experience: FEA, CFD, engineering calculation software
Strong interpersonal skills
Diverse technical background
Demonstrated supervisory skills
Understanding and practical application of: GD&T tolerance, analysis, drafting practices; rapid protyping and rapid tooling; machine shop operatinos; injection molding, extrusion and other manufacturing processes; metals thermoplastic and thermoset resins
