Description

Nurse Practitioner - Manager of Spine Center

Responsible for the overall management an ancillary medical clinic focusing on spinal patients and therapies.  Must be capable of planning and overseeing the entire patient care process from initial diagnostic testing, through the entire clinical care process to ensure the best possible patient outcomes.  You will consult and support physicians, as well as manage or oversee the management of individual patient cases.  You will be responsible for the overall development of pre and post surgery educational programs.  You will be responsible for the overall development and evolution of the entire program from initial patient contact, through final patient outcomes and payor results. 

You also will be the relationship manager, developing relationship management objectives and practices with all stakeholders: patients/families, doctors/surgeons, team managers/nurse managers, therapy team/managers, and payors.  Ultimately you are also responsible for reporting to upper management and tracking the results and development of the center's programs.

Requirements
  • Must be currently licensed as an Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner (ARNP)

  • Strongly prefer a Florida licensed ARNP

  • CPR and ACLS trained and certified

  • 2+ years experience in ortho/neuro rehab specifically with spinal care and treatment

  • Case management experience

  • Leadership and management skills

  • Solid clinical skills

  • Good customer service skills

  • Must bring the experience and understanding to lead this newly develped center which includes exposure to case analysis, treatments, surgeries, diagnostics, and case management.
