Job Description

Develop a comprehensive sales reporting package for Sales Management, Department Management, and Distribution/Channel Leadership to assist them in managing their businesses and performance.
  • Develop drill down reporting from channel level to agent level.
  • Works in conjunction with Analysts to analyze data and insure the quality of the data and its sources.
  • Sales trending and analysis
  • Prepares daily, monthly, quarterly and annual summaries for input to various business partners. Examines and analyzes reports for accuracy and ensures all data is complete.
  • Frequently prepares ad hoc analysis on special projects and presents to upper management.
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines in highly visible situations.
  • Analyzes and recommends system and procedural changes to improve productivity and quality outcomes.
  • Performs troubleshooting activities as necessary.
  • Manage overall Data Warehouse project including distributing status reports and running weekly status meetings.
  • Work with appropriate staff in accumulating and developing monthly, quarterly and annual production reporting.
  • Manage the day to day activities of the team.
  • Develop reports for management.
  • Assist marketing users with Data Warehouse as necessary.
  • Assist with needed auditing projects
  • Other duties, responsibilities, and qualifications may be required and/or assigned as necessary.
  • Has direct responsibility for compliance with the Sarbanes-Oxley Act in matters of financial and operational controls and disclosure requirements as mandated by the Act. This includes strict adherence to the company’s Business Conduct Statement and Code of Ethics. The emphasis will be on compliance with financial procedures and protocol, internal controls, and maintaining the highest level of workplace behavior.

Required Experience

  • 3-5 years of experience in a similar position in marketing, financial reporting, planning or financial systems
  • High level of proficiency in Word, Excel, Access, Visio.
  • Strong analytical background.
  • Ability to interact in teams and work independently with limited oversight.
  • Interest and aptitude to engage directly with end-customers.
  • Ability to quickly grasp business needs and issues
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize; successfully manage multiple projects of different size and types.
  • Experience with using/developing relational database tools
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Experience with using Crystal Reports, WEBi, CMS, SQL a plus
