Sales Trainee

This position is responsible for completing two months of designated training and receiving instruction in the areas of operations and sales.

Accountabilities

• Develop knowledge of Verso markets and market position to implement business strategies and achieve a preferred position in the marketplace.
• Build customer relationships and grow strategic alliances that result in sales opportunities.
• Analyze business situations, identify opportunities and develop business solutions to optimize business performance.
• Effectively communicate product attributes and services that provide added value to the customer.
• Develop an understanding of the competition’s strengths and weaknesses and utilize this information in selling approach.
• Understand customer satisfaction metrics, and effectively utilize company resources and capabilities to build value propositions and obtain a competitive advantage.
• Utilize strategies and implement tactics that are in alignment with the goals of the business and the company vision.

This position will require extensive travel within Wisconsin, Iowa, Nebraska and Illinois.

Position will be located in Chicago area (Itasca).

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university
  • Strong verbal communication skills (presentations and 1:1)

• A minimum of 1-2 year work experience. (Preferably business internships in marketing and sales)
