TRC Engineering Solutions, a division of TRC Staffing, is currently searching for a Field Service Engineer in the Greater Greensboro area.
Our client is a pacesetter in their industry and has aggressive plans to expand their market presence.
Duties will include traveling to client sites throughout the US, to install and service electronic controls related to welding gas regulation. Answer clients' technical questions regarding use and installation of products via, phone, e-mail and site visits.
Training will be provided by our client for the individual with the basic technical skills as outlined:
- Very familiar with industrial welding processes and equipment.
- Formal training, technical school or military training, in electrical/electronics.
- Demonstrated understanding of gas laws, (pressure, flow, regulation, measurement)
- Highly computer literate in all MS Windows software applications.
- Understanding of PLC (programmable logic controller) applications and industrial controls.
- 3-5 years experience as a field service or in-plant maintenance technician with similar electronic equipment.
- Effective and articulate communicator to work directly with client companies technical staff.
