Description Mildred Elley, a private two-year college in Albany, NY, with a branch campus in Pittsfield, MA, is seeking a Chairperson for its Department of Massage Therapy at its soon-to-open New York City Campus. The successful candidate, in addition to some teaching assignments, will be responsible for program quality, growth and student-centric outcomes in retention, graduation and certification. Additionally, the successful candidate will oversee staffing, faculty and curriculum development, instructional and related activities, the advisement of students and, as appropriate, participate in the college's standing- and ad-hoc committees.
Requirements The successful candidate will have a minimum of three-years experience as a licensed massage therapist, knowledge of multiple modalities and a combination of education and experience acceptable to the institution. A Bachelor's Degree in a related field and prior teaching experience is preferred.
