JOB SKILLS: REQUIRES B.S. OR M.S. DEGREE IN ENGINEERING (MECHANICAL, CIVIL OR AERONAUTICAL PREFERRED) OR EQUIVALENT DEGREE AND TYPICALLY A MINIMUM OF 8 YEARS EXPERIENCE IN AN ENGINEERING CLASSIFICATION. REQUIRES UNDERSTANDING OF MAJOR AIRPLANE INTERIOR FURNISHINGS LIFE CYCLE ISSUES, PAYLOADS PRODUCT DESIGN AND CONFIGURATION KNOWLEDGE. MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE IN SPECIFIC AIRCRAFT CABIN / CARGO COMPARTMENT PAYLOADS COMMODITIES, LARGE SCALE SYSTEM INTEGRATION, AND OR PROJECT MANAGEMENT EXPERIENCE. CANDIDATE MUST BE ABLE TO PLAN AND ORGANIZE THEIR TIME TO WORK PRODUCTIVELY AND EFFICIENTLY WHILE BEING ABLE TO ADJUST TO MULTIPLE DEMANDS. GOOD TEAMING AND COMMUNICATION SKILLS REQUIRED. STRONG MECHANICAL APTITUDE IS DESIRED. TEAM LEADERSHIP EXPERIENCE IS DESIRED. EXPERIENCE WITH COMPOSITE STRUCTURES IS A PLUS. STRONG COMMUNICATION SKILLS AND PROFICIENCY WITH STANDARD PC DESKTOP APPLICATIONS IS REQUIRED. PROFICIENCY IN CATIA IS REQUIRED.
