An Admissions Advisor Assistant is responsible for booking appointments for potential students to speak to an Admissions Advisors concerning enrollment into graduate degree programs for working professionals for prestigious US universities. This is accomplished by making out-bound warm sales calls (no cold calling) to prospective students who have requested information after responding to internal, targeted marketing campaigns.


Responsibilities:

 

  • Make outbound calls to prospective students with the goal to have them book an  appointment to speak to an Admissions Advisor
  • Answer phone calls for assigned programs
  • Meet assigned call volume targets and kept appointment objectives
  • Provide administrative support to assigned Admissions Advisors/Supervisors
  • Follow-up with students who are in the application process
  • Timely and accurate input and update of  the customer relationship database
  • Maintain productivity, efficiency and communication quality targets
  • Dedication to continuous learning and performance improvement
  • Employee will work standardized shifts Monday to Friday as per individual program need, between the hours of 9am and 9pm (there will be exceptions to this where required by the program). The standard shifts start at 9am and the second shift starts at 12:30 pm. Employees traditionally work 2 late shifts per week.
Requirements

 

  • Four year degree preferred
  • Exceptional relationship building skills
  • Previous true inside sales (outbound) experience 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent PC skills including Excel and Sales Database use (knowledge of SalesLogix a plus)
