Red Rock Behavioral Health Services was founded in 1974 as a private, not-for-profit comprehensive behavioral health service provider. Today, Red Rock operates 14 offices and service delivery locations as well as 7 residential facilities and 3 adult/children crisis intervention centers serving a total of 24 counties in Oklahoma and employing nearly 450 professionals including Psychiatrists, Psychologists, Licensed Clinical Social Workers, Licensed Professional Counselors, Registered Nurses, Case Managers, administrative and supporting staff.

Description of Behavioral Health Rehabilitation Specialist:

Responsibilities:

• Prepares, plans, facilitates, and implements direct care of consumers through groups and individual supportive rehabilitation; work units, curriculum groups; basic life skills groups; assesses consumer's skill levels for appropriate placement in groups.
• Coordinates, implements, and conducts rehabilitative services for psychologically impaired, SMI, elderly, or dual diagnosis consumers
• Provides support and interventions aimed at an individual attaining highest level of functioning.
• Works as treatment team member utilizing all available resources.
• Maintains required caseload and rehabilitation program hours.
• Provides and completes all required paperwork in timely manner.
• Maintains required productivity requirements.
• Participates in disposition/treatment team meetings providing the information is pertinent to the team treatment of the consumer.

Requirements of Behavioral Health Rehabilitation Specialist:

Education/Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in mental health treatment related field.
• Current certification as a Behavioral Health Case Manager preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• General skill in exercising independent judgment, tact, patience, and understanding; maintaining effective working relationships with consumers, other staff, and the community.
• Previous experience in mental health setting.
