An Energy company located in the North Houston area is seeking a Revenue Accountant to add to their team.

In this position you will be responsible for recording plant revenues for two plants (product allocations, invoice take-in-kind owners, processing fees). Prepare and distribute invoices to purchasers; follow up on any payment discrepancies; prepare producing well and active well count reports; record oil and gas revenue transactions (Bolo); prepare and submit regulatory reports (AL, TX, MS), severance taxes and PERC fees; prepare revenue accrual entries; process revenues (Bolo); calculate product imbalances, revaluations and distribute reports; reconcile revenue balance sheet accounts; respond to revenue owner inquiries; develop and ensure compliance with internal control policies and procedures; special projects.

To qualify for this Direct Hire position, you must have a degree in accounting and 5 years plant/E&P experience (CPA optional) , the ability to multi-task, work effectively with many different areas within the company (land, operations, marketing, accounting) and external customers , perform in a fast-paced, dynamic environment . Bolo/Excalibur and GPIS (Gas Plant Information Systems) experience are highly preferred.
