This key position is responsible for leading overall strategy and implementation of digital asset management (DAM) for Jostens. This includes end-to-end business processes and capabilities which enable Jostens:

-  To differentiate and grow in the marketplace by better leveraging assets in user experiences, products and services.

-  To improve efficiency and speed in asset creation and usage.

-  To create new abilities to re-purpose assets dealing with permissions, licensing, etc.

 

Responsibilities

-  Establish business requirements on digital asset management

-  Strategically use digital assets to grow business and win in the market place

-  Direct the planning and execution of DAM implementation

-  Set technical and process direction of DAM

-  Direct the development of process/system/technology systems recommendations with multiple options taking into consideration cost/benefits and pros/cons.

-  Define asset workflows and schemas

-  Project execution:  plan, track, execute and communicate project process

-  Support training and change management

-   DAM reporting

 


Job Requirements 

-   BS+ in technology

-  10 years business and technology experience with 3-5 years experience in digital asset and/or content management.

-  Proven ability to translate business requirements into actionable systems/processes.

-  Experience/Expertise/knowledge in the following areas:

    -  Using digital assets strategically to grow business and win in the market place

    -  Manage digital asset or content management systems for multiple output mediums

    -  Plan and execute a DAM implementation

    -  Proven ability to recommend internal and external solutions

    -  Digital asset/content workflow/process design

    -  Digital asset file formats and mainstream tools

    -  Digital Rights and permissions administration

-  Strong business acumen

-  Strategic thinking ability; must be able to creatively provide solutions and ideas and consider a broad range of internal and external factors in solving problems.

-  Proven ability to develop process/technology/systems recommendations with multiple options, cost/benefit, pros/cons

-  Ability to develop process migration plans, including human resources planning.

-  Experience working in a complex, diverse environment.

-  Strong people, leadership, and collaboration skills and experience

-  Proven ability to effectively lead and participate on cross-functional teams throughout an organization.  Team oriented. 

-   Project management skills with the ability to plan, track, execute and communicate project process.

-   Travel:  approximately 15%, including plant visits, technical seminars, national sales meetings, vendor visits and other trips as directed.
