Description
General Summary: Responsible for Tier I automotive sales activities associated with assigned customer accounts. Attains sales goals established by the Company.
Essential Functions:
1) Calls on and penetrates existing accounts and develops new accounts.
2) Establishes, with management, account volume increase and customer satisfaction strategies as well as new business sales objectives.
3) Develops and maintains personal relationships with large account decision makers.
4) Participates with management in the collection and analysis opportunities and strategies to capture incremental sales and profitability strategies for growth.
5) Insures a smooth and complete information exchange between sales and other departments and other inter-company organizations.
6) Manages special projects as assigned to ensure projects achieve goals in a timely manner.
Working Conditions:
· General office conditions.
· Driving to customer locations as well as manufacturing facility.
Supervision Received:
· Broad objectives are outlined. Work is judged primarily on overall results with much choice of method. Frequently develops own methods to achieve desired results.
Requirements
4 year degree in engineering, business or related area or equivalent work experience.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in Tier I automotive sales.
3) Experience to interface effectively with customers of large accounts.
4) Successful Sales track record.
5) Previous experience in die casting.
6) Must have good oral and written communications skills.
7) Must have command of MS Office software.
8) Personal traits: assertive and outgoing; relationship builder; persuasive skills; results oriented; have a technical background; able to interface effectively with customers and internal personnel.
