Job Description

Transition Manager / Organizational Development Manager
We are looking for a leader that possesses strong character integrity and confidence in their actions and decisions to ensure that our organization exceeds expectations.

GOAL:  
Provide extraordinary results and consistently drive change while continually adding to our success.      
 
Please Note: 

Must have Manufacturing-Union experience 1000-2000 employees.

  • Manage a wide range of Human Resources support including; leadership development, business integration, performance management, employee relations, rewards and recognition, organizational development and workforce planning.

  • Partner with various senior management across multiple sites to address the complex human resource and organizational development needs 
  • Proven capabilites leading CHANGE through organizational design
  • 10 yrs experience with Driving O.D. change, preferably in a seasoned UNION environment
  • Plan, advise and execute strategies to enhance process partners
  • Serve as Resource to entire Management Team-develop plans in tandem with Corporate HR
  • Facilitate the talent pool process - Ramp up Diversity and Inclusion
  • Design Succession Planning Program-maintain "Hi-Potential" employees
  • Plan and Executing projects to continuously improve the HR function and its responsiveness to customer needs
  • Manage administrative activities for a functional HR group, including budgets and salaries
  • Apply constructive interpersonal relationship methods to manage conflict toward the prevention of problems
  • Manage overall relationship with local unions, guiding, assessing and supporting the plants HR Labor Relations Specialist
  •  10+ yrs of broad Generalist Human Resource experience supporting large manufacturing organizations
 
Job Requirements
What you need to succeed in this position:

  •  Bachelor's in Human Resources/Organizational Development...Masters Preferred!
  • 10 years progressive HR experience plus.....
  • 10 years Organizational Development with success
  • Significant OD/OE
  • Strong passion for the floor - a collaborative & engaging style
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience with designing policies and procedures with demonstrated growth in success & responsibilities
  • Strong facilitation and interpersonal skills - consummate leadership skills
  • Proven ability to analyze and process problems while providing an effective solution
  • Strong Leadership skills to implement new process and training skills
  • Resourcefulness in accomplishing objectives and completing tasks
  • Outstanding organizational, communication and leadership skills
