RouteOne is looking for a Regional Business Development Trainer/Manager with automotive retail and indirect automotive lending experience to increase utilization of its electronic credit application system by dealer and finance source customers.

COMPANY OVERVIEW:

RouteOne LLC is a joint venture undertaken by DaimlerChrysler Financial Services, Ford Motor Credit Company, GMAC, and Toyota Financial Services. RouteOne has developed a web based system that provides automobile dealers with the ability to send credit application information to and receive credit decisions from, multiple finance sources, including OEM captive finance companies, banks, and other financial institutions, via a single internet portal. The system helps dealers save time while improving the car-buying experience for the consumer. The RouteOne system is used each day by over 20,000 dealerships nationwide. The purpose of this position is to grow revenue and manage account relationships within automotive dealers in the Northwestern Region (WA, OR, ID, MT, ND, AK, and HI) of the United States, the target home base location being Seattle.  In this position you will act as the primary RouteOne “in-market" contact point for both lenders (captive and independent) and dealers.  Our ideal candidate will have a sound understanding of dealership systems, credit processes, and online products.

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION:

1.              Train and motivate owning-captive sales representatives to convert dealers to full RouteOne utilization.

2.              In conjunction with owning captive efforts, increase credit application volume from RouteOne dealerships

3.              In conjunction with owning captive efforts, increase volume/revenue with regard to eContracting, Credit Bureaus, DMS Integration, and other dealer-facing functionality (ID verification, etc.)

4.              Develop professional, consultative relationships with dealership and dealership group users

5.              Develop new and existing lender relationships (captive and independent) and provide lender field sales support and training

6.              Represent RouteOne at conferences and trade shows as required

7.              Assist in RouteOne deployment activities

8.              Collect feedback from dealers and lenders to become the “Voice of the Customer," feeding the product improvement cycle

9.              Become the source for identifying new opportunities within the market and assessment of competitive products and services

 

Requirements

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS FOR THE POSITION:

1.      Knowledge of auto dealership systems, credit processes and online products

2.      Understand indirect lender processes and dealer relationships

3.      Effective presentation skills and fluency in MS Office Suite (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word)

4.    Ability to travel up to 75% of the time and willingness to possibly relocate in the future.

5.    A desire to move up in a growing and innovative company



DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

1.       3+ years experience

2.       4-Year Degree or equivalent work experience
