Line Cook-Fine Dining/Part Time

EJ Del Monte Corporation owner of Marriott hotels throughout New York State is currently hiring a Line Cook for the Renaissance Del Monte Lodge Hotel & Spa in Pittsford, NY.

The Line Cook is the principle restaurant and room service food preparation and service cook. The Line Cook ensures that all food is consistently and properly prepared in a timely manner, and is of the finest quality.

Duties include:

• Prepare and serve restaurant and room service fare per menu specifications
• Maintain high standards in food safety through adherence to all food safety and sanitation standards
• Maintain on-going communication and collaboration with staff with the aim of achieving high levels of cooperation and service excellence
• Assist in maintaining the cleanliness of the line and kitchen
• Properly maintain all work equipment, tools, and supplies

Fine Dining Experience is Required

• High level of food preparation skills including outstanding knife skills
• familiarity with contemporary line cooking techniques, and a demonstrated high competency in the fundamentals of fish, meat, poultry, and sauce cookery required
