Description
We currently have an opportunity for an experienced Director of Nursing at our skilled nursing facility located in Southeastern GA. We are seeking a candidate with proven management abilities to partner with the Administrator to jointly lead the facility.
Must have the ability to lead, organize, plan, develop, implement programs, objectives, policies/procedures, goals . . .which are necessary for providing quality healthcare.
Knowledge of reimbursement regulations and nursing practices/procedures along with laws, regulations, and guidelines pertaining to long term care management.
Interpret, communicate, and implement policies/procedures, regulations . . . to staff, residents, family members, visitors, and government agencies.
Requirements
Current license as a Registered Nurse in state currently practicing
Long-Term Care or Geriatrics Experience
BSN preferred
Progressive health care management experience
