Description We are expanding again! We’re recruiting Ophthalmology Territory Managers now for a November 2009 start date.

Requirements ISTA Territory Manager Profile

Qualification Requirements:

Education & Experience

Bachelors Degree, or equivalent experience, with 3 (or more) years’ selling experience in the pharmaceutical/biotech industry is required. Ophthalmology industry preferred. MBA desirable

Knowledge & Abilities

Outstanding interpersonal, oral and written communication skills, ability to demonstrate technical competence in the designed therapeutic areas, self-directed, ability to work independently and be results driven, ability to solve problems, ability to think quickly and to articulate thoughts clearly and experience with sales analytical tools such as territory analysis, prescription trend data.

Additional Dimensions:

Candidate must have solid, proven persuasion skills, the ability to adapt to an ever changing environment, great sales rankings, and the ability to excel in an entrepreneurial environment. Ability to demonstrate “going the extra mile" to achieve excellent results – being creative. Sales experience outside of a pod environment is required with demonstrated experience and accountability for an individual territory. Must be a strategic thinker with the ability to implement a tactical plan for consistent growth of the business. Specialty Pharmaceutical sales experience is preferred. Military and business to business sales experience a plus.
