American Radiology Services, Inc. ("ARS") began operations on February 1, 1997. The Company, which was primarily formed by the combination of four large physician groups (Johns Hopkins Imaging, LLC; Diagnostic Radiology Associates, P.A.; Schultze, Snider & Associates, P.A.; and Calvert Radiology Associates), owns and operates fixed site diagnostic imaging centers located throughout Maryland. Services provided include Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), Cat Scan (CT), Positron Emission Tomography (PET), Nuclear Medicine, Dual Energy X-ray Absorption (DEXA), Ultrasound, Mammography, Fluoroscopy and X-ray. Services provided under managed care contracts are administered through a wholly owned subsidiary of the Company, Radiology Alliance Delivery Systems, LLC (RADS). In addition, the Company provides management services to an affiliated physician association, American Radiology Associates, P.A. (ARA), with which ARS has executed a stock transfer restriction agreement related to ARA stock. ARA is a Maryland professional association that provides a wide range of diagnostic services at the ARS fixed sites and at numerous Maryland hospitals.

Job Description

 

JOB SUMMARY:  Prepare all marketing related reports to assist in driving change for the organization.  Data to include scan volumes and operating expenses including budget, actual and variance information. Gives direct support to Marketing Analyst on systems and processes.  Provides other ad-hoc reporting as required.  Support the Marketing Department with the maintenance of the sales database and other duties as assigned.

 

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

 

  • Responsible for the coordination and preparation of reporting schedules for marketing reporting purposes. 
  • Establish and maintain systems and controls, which verify the integrity of all marketing systems, processes and data.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement of existing processes & procedures.
  • Respond to CEO, CFO and Marketing and Sales Director as assigned with accurate and timely work to facilitate marketing needs.
  • Participate in a variety of special projects and compile a variety of reports.
  • Ensure information in sales/marketing databases is accurately maintained and updated.
  • Perform daily data migrations tasks.
  • Support Imaging Service Representatives with daily database maintenance requests. Assist with various database projects.
 

Job Requirements

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

 

  • 1-2 years experience in database management preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field preferred. 
  • Proven organizational skills in a dynamic environment, including an open/action-oriented personality.
  • Outstanding internal and external communication skills with experience in working with senior level management.

 

 

 

SKILLS

 

1.      Must be able to prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced work environment and meet strict deadlines.

 

2.      Must be able to produce high quality, timely reports using a variety of marketing tools and compiling data from multiple sources.  Experience working with large databases is required.

3.      Extensive Excel skills, reporting and some analysis experience (Microsoft Excel Certification preferred).  Must be able to demonstrate expert knowledge of the program and experience working with large databases.

4.      Must possess strong written communication skills. Creativity, problem-solving skills, accuracy, attention-to-detail and organizational skills are critical.

5.      Excellent verbal communication skills.  Must be able to communicate with co-workers, management, marketers, referring physicians, and others in a courteous and professional manner.

6.      Ability to type 40-50 words per minute.

7.      Pleasant telephone voice/manner, good listening skills and organizational skills.

8.      Ability to work in a team environment.
