Description

Responsible for external customer-production process quality programs, including product inspection, product and process audit, and workmanship related issues.

* Must have a 4 year engineering degree, or equivalent 4 year technical degree.
* Writes inspection procedures (IP) defining assembly inspection levels and workmanship criteria.
* Writes Customer quality plan for each assigned assembly.
* Supports production floor quality issues and QA audit function.
* Generates product/process quality reports.
* Acts as the QA contact for special cause quality issues.
* Analyzes returns and scrap reports for the purpose of process improvement.
* Conducts process qualification audits and supports new customer start-ups.
* Participates on Benchmark Customer teams as assigned by management.
* Defines, implements and maintains process controls used on the production floor including Statistical Process Control (SPC) and Design of Experiments (DOE).
* Supports internal statistical programs

* Assists with customer corrective action response issues.
* Will demonstrate the ability to solve and document complex cross departmental issues using structured problem solving tools.
* Will demonstrate effective interpersonal skills.
* Will be able to demonstrate effective communication, both written and verbal.
* Will demonstrate regular, consistent attendance.
* Will be able to function in a team environment.
* Will be able to use problem solving techniques.

Requirements *  Must have a 4 year engineering degree, or equivalent 4 year technical degree.
* Will have received training in basic statistics.
* Will be computer literate in Office and Windows applications.
* Will demonstrate ownership, excellent problem solving skills, and creativity in developing sound technical solutions.
