We are assisting our client, a mid sized service organization, with finding a top notch Information Technology Director to work as a key leader for their facilities located in the central NY area.

Position Description:

As a hands-on leader, the Information Technology Director will establish priorities within the IT function and have full accountability for key deliverables.  You will create & manage various project teams, and evaluate & track overall progress.  You will also analyze, recommend and direct the implementation and execution of new/upgraded information systems for the purpose of maximizing efficiency and cost containment.

Qualifications:

Candidates should bring a BS Degree in Information Technology (or a related field) along with 5 – 8 years of related experience in strategic IT management, large and small scale project management and enterprise-wide hardware/software implementations.  The selected candidate will also bring an understanding of sophisticated business concepts and the ability to work cooperatively with senior executives.  Experience in a SAP or healthcare environment desired.
