Description

Electrical Project Engineer, located in Littleton, Massachusetts.  The qualified candidate will be responsible for electrical design project work from concept to manufacturing release.  This position requires the ability to handle multiple priorities effectively while being a contributing part of a team effort.  Knowledge of appropriate electrical codes and experience with project leadership is a plus. 

Specific Responsibilities Include:

·         Design packaging equipment electrical controls.

·         Design and program PLC and HMI software.

·         Support current product designs.

·         Create electrical schematics, bills of materials, and other documentation to support the electrical designs.

·         Test and debug.

·         Current product design improvements.

·         Follow engineering quality, standards, methods, policies, and procedures.

 

Requirements

·         Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering is required

·         Minimum of 5 years experience in manufacturing, systems integration or the machine building industries.

·         Solid PLC and HMI programming skills, preferably with Allen-Bradley.

·         Use of AutoCAD software in designing schematics.

·         Strong project management skills

·         Organized and driven to achieve measurable results.

·         Excellent communication skills.

·         Some travel (domestic and international) required.
