Lucas Group, the respected leader in executive search, is working with a multi-billion dollar global organization on a high-profile Area HR Manager opportunity.  This person will have multi-site responsibility and will be tasked with providing HR guidance and leadership to the region.

Responsibilities include:

- Developing and implementing appropriate organizational and human capital strategies and solutions that align with the business objectives and deliver results
- Ensuring the successful execution of the talent planning, organizational effectiveness, employee relations, training, and leadership development for the region.
- Maintaining a positive employee relations and non-union environment
- Building strong relationships and rapport with front-line employees and leaders to provide sound advice and counsel
- Defining workforce planning needs for the region; developing creative sourcing and talent management strategies.
- Partnering with business leaders to plan and execute leadership development strategies.
- Conducting investigations and advising management in the appropriate resolution of employee relations issues.
- Developing and executing proactive union avoidance strategies.
- Ensuring compliance with all applicable labor and employment laws

Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree required; Master's Degree is preferred
- 5+ years of progressive HR experience in a large corporation
- Proven track record of acting as a strategic HR business partner in a multi-site, operations environment.
-Strong union avoidance experience with the proven ability to maintain a positive employee relations environment
- Strength in influencing and interacting effectively with business leaders and front line employees.
-Strength in managing employee relations issues and investigations with a keen ability to multi-task
-Strong communications skills with all levels of employees ranging from front line employees to senior management.
