We are actively seeking a Retail Store Manager in our Pinellas Park store. This position plays an integral role in Ashley Furniture HomeStores future success in meeting our customers’ needs and our continued growth.

Job Description
Below is a list of tasks this position is required to facilitate.


  • Manage HomeStore to meet sales goals. 
  • Build a business plan including but not limited to advertising, training, sales projections, expense and inventory controls, and GMROI. 
  • Authorize refunds and return with proper request. 
  • Conduct weekly sales meetings. 
  • Track close ratio at individual and store levels; monitor average and coaches for growth. 
  • Develop individual and store sales goals. 
  • Measure and monitor sales figures and make any needed adjustments for individual and/or group selling strategies. 
  • Report and discuss sales analysis, goals, and issues with management. 
  • Maintain current knowledge of competing stores.

Requirements Below is a list of requirements/qualifications necessary to be considered for this position.

  • BA in Business Administration, Marketing, Retail, or Supervisory Management 
  • 5 years retail experience required preferably in furniture environment and  4 years supervisory experience
  • Knowledge of workplace legalities, retail operations, commissioned sales, and fulfillment board businesses 
  • Able to influence people in positive ways for mutual benefit to employees and the Ashley Companies
  • Effective listening, communication, time management, and interpersonal skills.
