Other facility details: A certified Medicare facility of 133 beds is calling for you. We are seeking additional therapists to join our existing team here to help us expand our rehab program. We are seeking both full time and PRN therapists. With an excellent relationship with the local hospital, the goal is a caseload comprised of 50% Med A patients. A home-like older adult care facility offering excellent nursing and CNA support in a building with a terrific reputation in the community. This setting will allow our therapist the opportunity for independent program development with the support of a fortune 500 company. My current on-site rehab Program coordinator is a PT and she reports “You can really make a difference here." With other facilities near by, we offer the support of a multidisciplinary team and visible management. Our patients look forward to meeting you!

Performs evaluations, develops and implements effective patient treatment plans to restore, compensate or adapt for loss of patient function, by planning and administering medically prescribed therapy treatments in accordance with federal, state and professional standards governing the facility and their discipline.
Qualifications:
• Graduate from an accredited program for Occupational Therapy.
• Must possess and maintain a current license in the state of practice as required.
• Must possess problem-solving skills of the type and at a level necessary to accomplish the job.
• Must demonstrate good time management and organizational skills.
• Must be able to communicate in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Must be able to relate professionally, positively, and cooperatively with patients, patient’s family members and facility staff.
• Must be capable of maintaining regular attendance.
• Must meet all local health regulations, pass post-offer drug test, and post-offer employment physical exam if required.
• Must be capable of performing essential job functions of this job, with or without reasonable accommodations.
• Must have own transportation to travel between sites as needed.
• Must possess computer skills of the type and at a level necessary to accomplish specific job duties and assignments.
• Must meet Clinical Competency requirements upon hire and as needed.
